okay just had a discussion (AGAIN) with my mum about the money issue. haiz. okay not a discussion, a interrogation. she keep emphasizing she doesn't understnad why i can she2 de2 to spend all my savings on one trip. i thought this quesiton was long argued and had come to a consensus when i was thinking of applying, when i applying, when i was waiting for result and even until now when i had alrdy accepted the offer. HAIz...nth to say.

but then saw this programme on channel 8. about volunteers going to the less fortunate's house to do house cleaning and helping them in certain aspect of life e.g. bringing a ahma to some specialist cos she was too poor to consult a doc about her tumor.

watching these always remind me how fortunate i am. even thought there are many things i cant do, they are really a lot of things i can do. like having a laptop, ipod touch braces. many out there cant even afford 3 meals for a university education. i need to constantly remind myself the importance of contentment. :)

looking forward to recess week. time to clear all work haha
